Strawberry Shortcake Sundae

Strawberry Shortcake Sundae

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup Tequila Rose
  • 1 quart Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 2 cups Sliced Strawberries
  • 3 Tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tsp Fresh Lemon Juice
  • Pound Cake

HOW TO MAKE

  1. Beat ice cream in a bowl just until softened
  2. Fold in Tequila Rose
  3. Transfer to a loaf pan and cover with plastic wrap
  4. Freeze at least 2 hours
  5. Toss strawberries with sugar and lemon juice
  6. Let stand for 30 minutes
  7. Slice pound cake into 1/2 inch chunks
  8. Put 2 scoops of ice cream into a glass
  9. Add a couple of pound cake pieces and some strawberry mixture on top
  10. Add another scoop of ice cream
  11. Top with whipped cream and more strawberry mixture
